Introducing Ned, your perfect pocket-sized friend. These wooden robots are an all-time favourite when it comes to handmade toys, and it’s easy to see why! These toys bring a sense of joy and nostalgia with their natural, organic feel, offering a sensory experience that’s both fun and heartwarming. The warmth and authenticity of wood make these toys not only incredibly fun but also so beautiful. Plus, their durability means they can be loved for years and even passed down through generations as cherished keepsakes.

They’re a wonderful, eco-friendly alternative to plastic toys, offering a sustainable way to inspire creativity and imaginative play. Each wooden robot is designed to encourage open-ended play, making them ideal for storytelling, problem-solving, and hands-on exploration.

Each Ned is handcrafted from start to finish in a women run workshop in Bude, North Cornwall. Made using the finest Oak - The unique, natural wood grains mean that each Ned can shine through with his own character.  Different smiles are painted on each of the Neds to give them a slightly different personality.

Once Ned has been assembled, he is lovingly coated in Vegan friendly wax to help protect his wood and leave a soft matte finish. All of the paint is sealed using a matte sealer to help maintain the condition of the paintwork when you take your Ned out on adventures and any bumps that he may have.

When finished, Ned stands at 10cm from head to toe, meaning he is the perfect size for small hands and big adventures! He travels to his new home in his own luxury gift box, perfect if you are gifting the Ned.

Rudi & Bear's Ned's have been UKCA/CE tested and painted using water-based paints, certified toy safe, meeting all EU safety regulations. Please note that designs and wood shade may differ slightly to the stock photo as every Ned is individually crafted and hand painted.
